Taylor Swift will release her 12th album, "The Life of a Showgirl," on October 3 and unveils its cover art.

"The Life of a Showgirl" will feature 12 tracks, including a duet with Sabrina Carpenter, whose global hit "Espresso" also made her a pop superstar.

On Tuesday, Taylor Swift sent the internet into a tizzy by announcing the release of a new album available for "pre-pre-order."
"This is the album I've wanted to make for a very long time," the 35-year-old singer confided on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce, an American football player, and his brother, Jason Kelce.
“Every song on this album had to be there for a thousand reasons, and you couldn’t take one song out or add one song without it changing the whole album,” she said. “That kind of discipline in making an album, holding the bar really high, is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.”
Taylor Swift's 11th and previous album, "The Tortured Poets Department," sold 1.4 million copies on its first day of release last year.
On Wednesday, the former country singer turned global star also revealed the cover of "The Life of a Showgirl": she is seen in a rhinestone gown in a bathtub with only part of her face emerging from the water. Still the same blend of glamour and melancholy that has won over her fans around the world, the famous "swifties."
